Giving Thanks and Giving Back

We love site furniture, but in this time of thanksgiving, we are reminded of how much we love our community even more. From our community of hard-working employees who are the heartbeat of our company to our small town of Butler, PA and the surrounding Pittsburgh region, we are thankful to be right where we are, doing exactly what we are doing, with the amazing people we get to do it with. That is why throughout the year, but especially during the holidays, we focus on ways to celebrate our successes, give thanks and give back.

Turkeys & Hams!

A time-honored tradition since the early days of Keystone Ridge Designs, in the week leading up to Thanksgiving, every employee receives a turkey and ham to share with friends and family over the holidays. As a small token of thanks and employee appreciation, the turkeys and hams represent our founders’ passion for family values and finding time to gather together in thanksgiving.

Holiday Celebrations

Summer picnics or office pot-luck parties pop up throughout the year, but our annual Christmas party is a favorite time of year to look back on where we’ve come from and look towards the future of where we are headed. We take this time to recognize personal and professional milestones of our people and we celebrate accomplishments with food, drinks, prizes, camaraderie and general merriment. This year we celebrated the holidays early in a new venue that offered the added entertainment of golf simulators and competitions!

Still to look forward to is an all-employee catered lunch at the Keystone Ridge Designs facilities on the last day before the Christmas holiday begins.

Community Outreach

Giving back to the community where we live and work is important to the overall mission of Keystone Ridge Designs. Every month there is usually some type of community event, collection, or fundraising opportunity that presents itself whether through our employees’ ideas or through recognizing an urgent community need. From food drives, to back-to-school supply collections and more, the collective KRD family has a huge heart for giving and a desire to serve.

This month, we participated in a “Hang Tough” stocking program where employees donated items to stuff into stockings that will be given out to local cancer patients going through treatment. We also supported an employee who was heading up a clothing drive for her church with donations of gently used winter gear for the homeless in Pittsburgh. We are so thankful for our people and their generosity!

Thanks to our Customers

While in the process of giving thanks, we certainly cannot forget our customers. We recognize that it is our clients’ faith in our products and our service that allow us to keep doing what we are doing. During a year of high-volume demand combined with unique supply-chain challenges, our number one goal is and has always been to deliver a top-quality product. We appreciate the patience, understanding and loyalty we have received from our customers as we ramp up our production facilities and make strategic pivots to meet the growing demand for our durable outdoor furnishings.

Thank you to the landscape designers, property managers, urban planners, retail developers, facility managers and more who put their trust in Keystone Ridge Designs every day knowing the quality we deliver. Each project is unique and important to us and we will continue to work tirelessly to exceed expectations and manufacture design-oriented products with time-tested value. To everyone involved in that process, we give a huge thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
